The Company

Marcus E. Brandstetter is the founder of Specific-Group. He has been working in the software industry since 1992. In the nineties, qualified software developers were in demand, so in 1998, Marcus E. Brandstetter founded a software house under the name Specific-Group, headquartered in Vienna, Austria. At that time there weren’t that many software developers on the Austrian market, and since Marcus had had positive experiences with Russian software developers, he decided to establish the company Specific-Group Belarus Ltd in Belarus. Specific-Group Belarus opened first a software development center in Minsk, and then it expanded into a second development center in Grodno. Thus the foundation was laid for the implementation of professional, yet cost-effective software.

Our goal was and still is to offer these services to Western European companies.

With this concept, Specific-Group has been on a controlled course of expansion right from the start. Well-known businesses put their trust in Specific-Group and, in various projects, were quite pleased with the results.

In 2008 the Austrian sole proprietorship became Specific-Group Ltd. Nowadays, Specific-Group has fifty employees and works with many companies from diverse industries.
